Lauren's lab results for her hemoglobin last night came back at 9, wich was to be excepted since she just had 12 hours of blood transfusions. Now the big test is this morning labs. If her hemoglobs drop dramatically, that means her body is still destroying them. If they remain relatively stable, that is a good sign.

Now some irritating news. Lauren's roommate is not playing very nice. I'm not talking about the patient, I'm talking about her mom. She controls the temperature on her side of the room. Both Lauren and Hilary woke up sweating. The room temperature was over 85 degrees. While I've never been pregnant, it seems pregnant women are always hot. Hilary has complained to the nurse a couple of times. The nurse would talk to the witch (it is Halloween time), and turn the temperature down. As soon as the nurse leaves, the witch will crank the heat back up. No compromise or anything with her. Also, her kid has a temperature of 103. So why is she keeping it so hot in the room, and more importantly, why is Lauren sharing a room with a sick patient!! Hilary also tells me, all she can hear on the witch's side of the room is her complaining. Complaining to the nurses and doctors. Complaining on the phone about the nurses and doctors. It's bad enough we have a sick kid in the hospital, but to be stuck in the same room with her. I'm not even going to ask if it can get any worse, because I know….
