Lauren has been breathing fast. You can really see it in the way her
chest and stomach move. While it's within the "normal" range, it's a
change. So the doctor ordered X-rays for some time today. Also Lauren's
speech is again a little slurry, but not as bad as the last scare/time.
Not sure if it is due to the drugs she has been given at the hospital. A
lot of the drugs and the tranfusion (she got platelets yesterday) require
pre-medication. So she had to TAKE drugs to help her with the needed
drugs. She also developed a rash from one of the antibiotic or
pre-meds, or she could have had a reaction to the platelets. It's hard to tell.
At least the rash is mostly gone already.

I forgot to mention that Lauren's ANC count yesterday was 20 up from 10
as of Tuesday. It needs to increase above 1,800 before we can go home.
The good thing is once it starts going up, it usually goes up very
quickly. So we are not ruling out the chance that we might be able to
come home sometime this weekend. Of course, we know better than to
write anything in pen.

While Lauren is not particularly happy about being in the hospital
again and is very tired, she understand why she is there and is in good
spirits. Also it's hard to get any rest in a hospital since they take
her vital signs every four hours.
